Donald J. Sullivan
February 26, 1969 ~ December 3, 2017 (age 48) 48 Years OldWare - Donald J. “Sully” Sullivan, 48, of West Main Street died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 3, 2017.
He leaves his mother, Beverly A. Sullivan of Ware; his twin brother, Daniel Sullivan of Ware; his sister, Alice Simmoneau and her husband Anthony of Palmer; four nephews, Matthew, Andrew, and Brantley Simmoneau and Parker Monahan; two nieces, Jessica and Olivia Monahan, and many friends. He was born in Ware, son of the late Daniel W. Sullivan, and has been a life-long resident of Ware.
Donald worked for the Highway Department for the Town of Ware for the past 10 years. He was also a caretaker at Aspen Grove Cemetery. Prior to joining the Highway Department, he was a machine operator at Flexcon in Spencer for 24 years.
Sully was a member of Ware Knights of Columbus, the Hardwick Rod & Gun Club, and the Aspen Street Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, working and being outdoors, as well as hunting and deep sea fishing as hobbies. He was a fan of NASCAR, with the late Dale Ernhardt #3 being his favorite driver.
A Funeral Service for Donald will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street in Ware at 11:00AM. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christmas for Kids, Hardwick Rod & Gun Club, P.O. Box 288, Gilbertville, MA 01031, or the charity of your choice.
