Evelyn W. (Skowron) O’Keefe

West Warren - Evelyn W. (Skowron) O’Keefe, 91, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in the Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.

She leaves a sister, Dorothy White of Florida and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.  Evelyn was born and grew up in West Warren, daughter of the late Stanley and Justine (Majhorski) Skowron and later lived 18 years in West Brookfield before moving back to West Warren in 1972.

Mrs. O’Keefe worked for many years as a caregiver at various group homes in the area before retiring in 1990.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in West Brookfield, very active in the Warren Senior Center and loved going and spending time at the casinos.

A Funeral Service for Evelyn will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield.  Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 2 to 4 PM in the funeral home.  Flowers may be sent or memorial donations may be made to the Warren Senior Center, PO Box 428, West Warren, MA 01092.
