Kayleigh S. Roach

Hardwick - Kayleigh Schae Roach, whom many of you know as "KK", 21, died unexpectedly on February 25, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield after a long battle with heart and lung complications.

She leaves her beloved daughter, Schayleigh A. Young; her parents, David and Kimberly Roach; her little brother, Jonah Roach; her sister, Kelsey Roach; her grandparents, Jean and Robert Messier of Ware and Norma Roach of Key West Florida.  Many aunts and uncles, Monique Messier of Ware, Stephen & Teresa Messier of Ware, Dawn & Glenn Briand of Hardwick, Diana & Fredrick Smith of New Braintree, Darlene & Thomas Staiti of New Braintree, Denise & Ron Ziemba of Palmer, Darryl & Darlene Roach of Oakham, Daniel & Terhi Roach of Hardwick, Godparents, Lisa Quagliani of Alaska, and Patrick Saletnik of Ware and many cousins who were all dear to her heart. She was predeceased by her grandfather, David G. Roach and her cousin, Benjamin Roach.

Kayleigh was born in Ware and grew up in Hardwick.  She was a beautiful, fun, feisty, spunky young woman whom everyone wanted to be around. As a child, she loved the outdoors, animals, catching frogs, and dreamed of being a veterinarian.  She enjoyed dancing, basketball, and spending time with her friends. She loved spending time with them and loved her daughter with all her heart.

A Liturgy of Catholic Burial for Kayleigh will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church in Ware.  Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM in the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. in Ware.  Friends and family will be gathering for a celebration of her life at the Hardwick Winery and Vineyard, 3305 Greenwich Road, Hardwick, MA immediately following the burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Schayleigh A. Young Benefit Fund, c/o Country Bank for Savings, 75 Main Street, Ware, MA 01082.
