Sandra L. Turcotte

South Dennis / West Brookfield - Sandra L. Turcotte, age 73, left this earth to be with The Lord, her Heavenly Father, late on January 19, 2018, while surrounded by her family.  Sandy was born in Ware, and raised her 4 children - Nathan Burns, Jill Burns Giffin, Kelly Burns, and Aimee Paquette, primarily in the neighboring town of West Brookfield.  These 4 graced her with 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren!

Sandra loved her family, spending time with the kids, grandkids, and she loved her dog Buddy, very much!  She enjoyed Cape Cod and the beaches (especially Mayflower beach) so much she bought a house there and made it home for 20 years, later in her life.

Sandy was talented with color and design both in the garden and in her home, creating beautiful spaces, which she took great pride in.  Most recently, she appreciated swimming again, reuniting with old friends, visits and outings with family, seeing the grandkids, and calls from those miles away.

Services will be held privately.  “Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.”  Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements.
