Theresa M. (Charbonneau) Skowyra

Ware - Theresa Mae Rose (Charbonneau) Skowyra, 91, of Mountain View Drive, died on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.

She leaves her son, Michael Skowyra of Ware and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband David Skowyra.  She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche (Sorel) Charbonneau and was a lifelong resident of Ware.

Theresa worked in maintenance at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst before retiring.

She was a member of All Saints Church and of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.  She was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the Ware Golden Agers.

A Graveside Service for Theresa will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Ware.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.  Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., is assisting her family with arrangements.
