I am sorry Wally is no longer with us and my sympathy goes out to the Grimes Family. Wally will be missed but his memory will remain. I'll miss our conversations and know that the Nursing Staff will miss his humor. Our conversations ranged from his WWII days to farming, fixing tractors, and working at Klem's. He remembered one German word, kaugummi (chewing gum) which he gave to the children as he marched through Germany. When he was laid off at Klem's, he wondered why? I just smiled and said" Maybe they just found out you were 87 years old. I'll always have good memories of Wally. He was a "special" friend.
