Bernadette T. (McComb) Anderson

Warren - Bernadette T. Anderson, 84, of West Warren died on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield following a brief period of declining health.

She leaves her son, Russell A. Anderson and his wife Kelly of Warren; a daughter, Rebecca A. Acerra and her husband Antonio of West Warren; her sister, Claire Cormier; four grandchildren, Adam Erickson and his wife Tonya of North Oxford, Christina Acerra and her fiance Matthew of Warren, Jonathan Acerra of West Warren, and Noah Anderson of Warren; and her great-granddaughter Lillian.  She was born in West Warren, daughter of the late William and Adele (Boutote) McComb, and was a life-long resident of the town.  She was predeceased in 1993 by her husband of 39 years, Russell C. Anderson.

Bernadette worked as a wire spooler at Quirk Wire Products for 17 years, before retiring in 1998.

Bernadette was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds around her home. 

She was a member of Emmanuel Orthodox Church of Warren.

A Funeral Mass for Bernadette will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Emmanuel Orthodox Church, 25 Winthrop Terrace in Warren and everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Warren Fire Department Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 608, Warren, MA 01083.
