Chicopee / Ware -  Edith M. (Hutchins) Irwin, 99, of Chicopee died on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves her daughter Evelyn Gagnon and her life partner Mark Clark of Chicopee; son, William Irwin and companion Rhonda Vonberg of Chicopee; 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband Raymond Irwin and her 9 brothers and sisters.  She was born in New York, daughter of the late William and Rose Hutchins.

Edith was a loving and devoted wife and mother.  She loved life, her family and her church.  Edith enjoyed listening to country music, singing church hymns and dancing.

She was a member of United Church of Ware for over 70 years.  

A funeral service for Edith will be held on January 5, 2019 at 11:00AM in Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street, Ware, MA.  Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9:00 – 11:00AM in the funeral home.
