Gloria I. (Torres) Reid

Springfield / West Brookfield - Gloria I. Reid, 96, of Agawam died on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Wingate of Springfield.

She leaves her step-daughter, Robin Berrouard and grandchildren Todd Carney, Phyllis Falkner, Patricia Eyer, Michael Keegan and Maureen Budrow.  She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Allan T. Reid in 2012, as well as her daughter, Diane Carney, and her sons, William L. Keegan, and Robert Keegan.  She was the daughter of the late Louis and Eleanor  Torres.  She grew up in Springfield.  After retirement Gloria and Allan lived on Lake Wickaboag in West Brookfield.

Gloria worked for the US Postal Service before retiring in 1982.

She was a member of the George Whitefield United Methodist Church and sang in the choir, as well as the West Brookfield Senior Citzens, and NARFE, the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association. 

A Funeral Service for Gloria will be held in the George Whitefield Methodist Church, in West Brookfield on Monday, April 16, 2018, at 10:30AM.  There are no calling hours, and everyone is asked to meet directly at the church.  Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in West Brookfield.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice or the George Whitefield Methodist Church, 33 W. Main St., West Brookfield, MA 01585.
