West Brookfield - Helen (Krasnecky) Millikan, 97, of West Brookfield, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.
She was born on May 11, 1922, in Hardwick, the daughter of Victor & Victoria (Vorce) Krasnecky. She leaves two sons, Frank Hubacz Jr. and his wife Joan (Waterman) Hubacz and Michael J. Hubacz and his wife Deborah (St. Dennis) Hubacz; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Dale Millikan and her 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Helen held a variety of jobs including those of a working farmer’s wife, a wire solder at Gavitt Wire Co., an early American painter of tin ware for Jasko Broom and Brush Co., and as an apartment complex manager in Los Angeles, CA, for many years before returning to North Brookfield. She was very creative and a talented painter adopting the style of Currier & Ives prints.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Quaboag for their kind, considerate, and professional care for the past two years.
A private service for the family will be held in her memory.
