Wheelwright - Jacqueline M. (Lovering) Messier, 79, of Wheelwright, died on Monday, December 9, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves her long-time companion, Paul Jordan of Wheelwright; her daughter, Susan Messier and her husband Jeff Leupold of West Brookfield; her son, David Messier and his wife Paula of Warren; five grandchildren, Brendon, Garrett, Arrianna, Madison, MaKenzie, and two great-grandchildren, Parker and Nyxon. She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Chester L. and Mary (Vankoski) Lovering.
Jacqueline was a business teacher at Ware High School for 30 years. She was a very caring and down to earth lady who loved her family. Jacqueline loved knitting and made sure her family was outfitted with scarves, sweaters and afghans.
The family would like to thank the nurses at St. Vincent’s Pulmonary ICU and the nurses and staff at Overlook Health and Rehabilitation Center in Charlton for the wonderful care they provided to Jacqueline.
A Funeral Mass for Jacqueline will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10AM at St. Augustine Mission Church, 98 Church Lane in Wheelwright. Everyone should meet directly at the church. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 5 to 7PM in the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street in Ware. Burial will be held in St. Aloysius Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Augustine Mission Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 542, Gilbertville, MA 01031-0542.
