A wonderful man, who opened up the doors to his home on Church Street to all of us guys and girls when we went to high school back in the seventies. a fantastic cook, wonderful sense of humor, one of those people who was part of my youth and will always be remembered.

My prayer and sympathy to all of Jacks family. I loved working for Jack, he taught me so much not only about food service but many other things about life and about the kids that came through our lunch line. To this day I remember things he would say about kids being kids.
He was wonderful to work for and party with. I have so many wonderful memories of Jack. Jack did for everyone, no matter who they were. Jack was always doing for others.
RIP my good friend.

Oh my gosh I cannot believe my old friend Jack has been given the call to serve as Chief Chef beyond the pearlie gates! I first new Jack when he came to be manager at Friendly Ice Cream in Ware, Massachusetts. I was working there part-time after graduating high school in 1964. Jack was a hard working, fun-loving kind of guy and friend to all and stranger to none. What a wonderful personality he had always joking and laughing as I recall. He just never stopped because he loved to serve everyone, anywhere and anytime. I'm so sad to have learned the news about his passing but I know all good things must come to an end. I know his son John was waiting for him on the other side of the gate and I hope they get to catch up, laugh, cry, and joke as he always did. God Bless dear friend and rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man, and a great person who serviced so many people here in Ware over his life time. He certainly will be missed by many. Only fond memories of him from my high school years and beyond. God bless him and your family.
