Ray was someone very special to me. He gave me tough love growing up in the Congregation. But behind that toughness was kindness that showed me HOW to love Jehovah & people. I have great great memories of “Wilber” sitting in “his chair” for book studies & meetings for service. And my last time with Ray, a few weeks before he passed I will hold dear to me, his laughter & since of humor
Joan, Jehovah will continue to be with you to give you a clear mind & calm heart as you wait for the day very soon to see Ray again. 🎼 That day is just around the corner, waiting around the corner is a world we long to see, it’s a promise from Jehovah it’s a guarantee reality, it’s hard to get downhearted when we think of what’s instore, just around the corner🎼
With deep love,

Ray was a pillar and support of the Truth in the Ware Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Hearing him pray before meals at home reinforced my opinion of him as a deeply spiritual man; it amazed me that he remembered so many by name. He was a dear friend to my wife & I, and we so look forward to seeing him in the peak of health when he is resurrected on the earth, in the Paradise. Until then, he will be greatly missed.

Ray & Joan have been part of our spiritual family for 45 years. I remember our tiny hall, book study in their cellar, building our new hall and too many service experiences. They have also been loving to our family and my mom , Eva. We are glad that the pain and suffering endured with Ray is over and only hope ahead. Isa 32:17-18 Isa 41:6

Raymond is a dear friend and a caring person, he will be missed. He was a faithful servant of Jehovah, and he was a good husband to Joan. We look forward to seeing him again in perfect health in the resurrection to take place here on a paradise earth.

We only knew Ray for the past 6 years or so, but he left quite an impact on Diane and I. I especially loved hearing Ray talk about his exploits on the basketball court, and he enjoyed telling them. I look forward to seeing him again - in perfect health - and challenge him to some hoops. I also remember taking him on a call once and on the way home I asked if he'd like an ice cream. He quickly replied, "YES! - But don't tell Joan!" He made sure he devoured it before we got back to his house. I guess it's safe to let the secret out now. He will be dearly missed.
