Brookfield - William F. Walker, 84, of Brookfield died on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Heywood Hospital in Gardner.
He leaves his loving wife of 63 years, Pauline “Pinky” D. (Piche) Walker of Brookfield; his children, Clint Walker and wife Heika of Germany, Robert Walker of West Brookfield and Maxine Fairbanks and her husband Scott also of West Brookfield; his four grandchildren, Nicole, Natalie, Jessica, and William and four great-grandchildren, Eileen, Delane, Aiden and Kinsey; a brother, Gene Walker and two sisters, Carol Valley and Betty Cass. He was born in Brookfield, son of the late Frank and Hulga “Betty” (Carlson) Walker.
William was a Purchasing Agent for Brookfield Machine before he retired and enjoyed his time as a volunteer EMT/Firefighter which he did for over 20 years. He was an outdoorsmen, an avid hunter, fisherman and loved taking family camping trips. His family was very important to William and he loved spending his time entertaining and having his friends and family all gathered together.
William was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He was a lifetime member of the Hayden Masonic Lodge in North Brookfield and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
A private Graveside Service will be held in the Spring at his families request.
