Andree Marie Rose De Petris

Hardwick-Andree Marie Rose DePetris, 96, of Hardwick, MA, formerly of Yarmouthport, MA, died at home peacefully on June 12, 2014, surrounded by family. Of French decent and one of four children born to Camille and Rose Camet, Andree was a woman of many interests including gardening, antiquing, hunting, fishing, and boating with her husband Roger, who predeceased her in May of 2001, after 64 years of marriage. She was the consummate homemaker and loved cooking for family and friends who were always welcome at her home. Andree also enjoyed many handcrafts including sewing, knitting and crocheting. She especially enjoyed playing Bridge with Roger and friends throughout her life. Andree is survived by her son George and his wife Dianne of West Newfield, Maine, her daughter Aline and her husband, Charles Lemaitre of Hardwick, MA, grand and great grandchildren, and brother Paul Camet of Cape Cod, MA. A private service was held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Ware, MA on June 16th.
