Andrew N. Yiaski, 88
Ware - Andrew N. Yiaski, 88, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 in the Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.
He leaves his wife Josephine (Boyd) Yiaski; several step-children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Conrad and his wife Barbara. He was born in Phoenixville, PA son of Joseph and Mary (Degenhardt) Yiaski and lived many years in the Brookfield's before moving to Ware.
Mr. Yiaski worked at the Quabaug Corporation in North Brookfield and later as a superintendent at American Disposables in Ware before retiring.
He was a United States Coast Guard Veteran of W.W. II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 246 in Gilbertville and the Veterans of Foreign War Post 3439 in North Brookfield.
Funeral Services for Andrew will be held privately. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
