Ware-Anne F. (DeSantis) Bullock, 99 ½ , passed away at home on October 19th. Born in Introdacqua, Italy on April 3, 1914, Anne came to America in 1923 with her family through Ellis Island on the ship Dante Alighieri and settled in Enfield Ma, and later Ware Center. She was known for her pizzas, Italian Cooking . She fed many satisfied customers in her restaurant, pizza shop, school cafeterias and in her kitchen. She was president of the Ladies' Sodality at All Saints Church, and faithfully attended Mass, via television when she could no longer attend in person. She was a member of the Ware Historical Society, and was a resource of stories of life over the last century. She is survived by her children Donald (Barbara), and Julie; grandchildren Todd (Diane), Lori, Glen (Aimee), Tanya (Michael Girard) , Ross (Michelle), Lynn (Bruce Ryder), Jennifer (Chris Papcin); great grandchildren, Cody Ryder, and Jessica and Amanda Bullock as well as her 99 year old cousin Clelia Ventresca in Pettorano Italy. Anne was predeceased by her husband of 49 years Andrew W. Bullock, her parents Giuseppe and Giulia (Conosciuto) DeSantis, her children Carol Cross and Michael Bullock and siblings, Donato, Gasper, Emily, Armand, Henry, Walter and Carlo DeSantis. She felt blessed with loving family, cousins nephews, nieces and true friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday from the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. with a Mass at 11am in All Saints Church, North St. Burial will be in New St. William Cemetery. Calling will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm.
