Arthur L. Curtis, Jr.

Holland - Arthur Leroy Curtis, Jr. of Holland passed away surrounded by love on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield. He was born on February 23, 1932 in Monson to the late Arthur Leroy Sr. and Alice E. (Walker) Curtis.
Arthur will be missed by his two sons, Arthur L. Curtis, III of Holland, and Eldon Roy Curtis of Holland; and three daughters, Donna Curtis and her husband Jim Brattleboro, VT, Candie Conner and her husband Tim of Sharon, NH, and Nina Olmeda of Springfield. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Dawn S. (Stevens) Curtis, who passed away on April 6, 2023.
Arthur earned his living as a supervisor at the former Ludlow Paper Company, now known as Kanzaki Specialty Papers, Inc. Many of his co-workers would mention on how kind and light-hearted Arthur was. He was a man of many titles, a Mason, a talented floral designer, and a loving foster father. Arthur also loved relaxing by Hamilton Reservoir.
Arthur's family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center for the wonderful care of Arthur.
Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting his family with arrangements. Services will be held at the convenience of his family.
