Barbara A. Barlow, 77
Warren - Barbara A. (St. Hilaire) Barlow, 77, of Prospect St., died Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Southbridge Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
She leaves two sons, William Barlow and his wife Beatrice of Ware and Roy Barlow and his wife Jan of Brimfield; two daughters, Betty Barlow and Beth Dion and her husband David of Warren; one brother, Joseph R. St. Hilaire, Jr. of West Brookfield; three grandchildren and two nephews. Her husband of 44 years, Leroy W. Barlow, Jr., died in 2003. She was born in Mass., daughter of the late Joseph R. and Helen M. (O'Connell) St. Hilaire and grew up and lived in West Brookfield before moving to Warren in 1958.
Mrs. Barlow worked in the cafeteria at the Quaboag Regional High School for 13 years and then at the Massachusetts State Police Academy before retiring in 1989.
She was a very active member of the Warren Senior Center and belonged to the Red Hat Society.
Barbara's family would like to thank everyone at Baystate Wing Hospital and Southbridge Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for all the loving care and support given to her.
A Funeral Service for Barbara will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren.
