Ware - Barbara J. (Finnerty) Trudeau, 82, of Ware entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves her husband of 58 years, Robert F. Trudeau; three sons, Robert J. Trudeau and his life partner Brad Hoisington, John I. Trudeau and David F. Trudeau and his wife Terry Rogers; one daughter, Debra J. Jurczyk and her husband Francis; five grandchildren; Nicole Jurczyk Zajac, Kyle Jurczyk, Heath Hebert, Tobias Trudeau and Amanda Trudeau; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Palmer, daughter of the late John P. and Charlotte (Keyes) Finnerty and graduated from Monson High School in 1954.
Barbara worked for many years at Mary Lane Hospital, beginning in the Kitchen, then Central Supplies, and retiring as a receptionist for the X-ray Department there.
She was a member of All Saints Church in Ware and Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Daytona Beach, FL and was past president of the American Legion Auxillary Post 246 in Gilbertville.
A Funeral Mass for Barbara will be held on Thurday, April 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the All Saint's Church in Ware. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM in the Charbonneau Funeral home, 30 Pleasant St., Ware. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benefit of the Baystate Hospice Nursing Staff in the Ware area.
