Brookfield - Bernadette A. (Otis) Pelletier, 91, of Prairie Schooner Trail, died Saturday, August 13, 2016 at home with her caring family with her.
She leaves two sons, Michael Pelletier and his wife Sandy of Bristol, Connecticut, and Ronald Pelletier and his wife Nancy of South Windor, Connecticut; three daughters, Lynne Compton and her fiancé Paul Comptois of Brookfield, Claire Rouner and her husband Richard of Kenefick, Texas, and Claudette Nadeau of Bristol, Connecticut; two brothers, Gerard Otis and his wife Jacquline of Barre, Vermont, and Fernand Otis and his wife Dorothy of Williamstown, Vermont; one sister, Suzanne Archangelo of Bristol, Connecticut, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lucien Ronaldo Pelletier in 1990, her son, Philip Pelletier, and several siblings. She was born in Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Lucien and Alice (Raboin) Pelletier and lived in Brimfield prior to moving to Brookfield.
Bernadette was a life-long homemaker in her own home, who loved taking care of her large family.
Funeral services for Bernadette will be private. There are no calling hours. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main Street, West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements.
