Bernard Sorel

Bernard  Sorel, 87, passed away on Oct. 8th  in West  Brookfield. He was born in Ware son of Edmond and Lucia (Roy)  Sorel and was a lifelong resident. He leaves his children, Geri MacDonald and her husband Brian of Attleboro, Peter Sorel of Florida and Patrick Sorel of West Brookfield, his grandchildren, Joseph, Brandon and Christopher Sorel and Kelsey MacDonald, and his 5 great grandchildren. He also leaves a brother Edward of Gilbertville, his sisters, Rachael Sorel, Madeline Cebula, Yvonne Vadnais, Cecile Chapdelaine all of Ware, Sylvia DeMaio of Belchertown and Lorraine Forgit of Spencer. He worked for many years as the manager of the former Ware Metal Co. He was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He was a member of the Odd Fellows, and drove the Ware Senior Bus for many years. A graveside service will be held on Saturday Oct. 15th  at 11am in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
