Brookfield - Beverly C. (Faucher) MacLeod, 90, of Brookfield, died on Friday, March 25, 2022 at her home with her family by her.
She leaves her husband, William E. MacLeod of Brookfield; four daughters, Nancy Plimpton and her husband Fred of Sturbridge, Sharon Charvat of Brimfield, Linda MacLeod of Brookfield, and Patricia Palmer of Sturbridge; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sister, Ann Fleming, and her brother, Roger Faucher. She was predeceased by her daughter, Beverly Wellman in 1993, her son, William F. Palmer, III in 2018, as well as her sister Rita Devitt and brother, Alfred Faucher. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Leo and Mabel (Goodney) Faucher and has lived in Brookfield for over 50 years.
Bev worked as a school bus driver for the R.E. Souliere, Inc. and McCarthy Bus Companies for over 30 years. She loved seeing the smiling faces of the little children, but was also known for the no nonsense behavior allowed on her bus by the high schoolers. She was a long-time active member of the Hampden County 4-H where she volunteered for over 35 years, as well as a member of Quaboag Church in Brookfield. She always had a dog or two at home and enjoyed feeding the humming birds and birds.
A Funeral Service for Beverly will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 10AM in the Quaboag Church, 175 Fiskdale Rd., in Brookfield. Burial will be in Brookfield Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Baystate Hospice, 30 Capital Drive, West Springfield, MA 01089.
