Ware - Bonnie J. (Bouchard) Anair, 81, of Ware, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 surrounded by her family at home.

Bonnie leaves behind her loving husband of 59 years, Francis F. Anair, Sr. of Ware; her daughters, Lisa M. Anair and Julianne Anair of Ware; her sons, Francis F. Anair, Jr. and his wife Stacey and Steven M. Anair also of Ware; her beloved grandchildren, Frankie, Jeyda, Jaelynn, Michael and his wife Brie, Kirstyn and her husband Vinnie, and Evan and his wife Emily; her great-grandchildren, Cooper, Rowan, Griffin, Leona, Pippa, and Billie; her brother, Francis Bouchard of Ogdensburg, NY; her sisters, Mary Lou Ashley and her husband Tim of Ogdensburg, NY, and Cheryl Stupski and her husband David of Bondsville; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was born in Ogdensburg, NY on October 11, 1942, daughter of the late Francis W. and Dorien (Miller) Bouchard.  She graduated from A. Barton Hepburn Hospital School of Nursing in Ogdensburg NY in 1963 and worked as a Registered Nurse at Hepburn Hospital.  Bonnie married the love of her life Francis, on May 30, 1964 at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Ogdensburg NY and moved to Massachusetts with him to begin their long lives together.

While raising her family, Bonnie also worked for many years as a Registered Nurse caring for others in the Ware community.  She fulfilled many roles as a nurse throughout the years, including school nursing for the local school system as well as critical care nursing, nurse paramedic, surgical nurse, patient care, infection control, utilization review and discharge planning at Mary Lane Hospital in Ware, from where she retired in 2008, after many, many years of service, to care for her sick mother.

In addition to being an exceptional nurse at work, ensuring the best patient care possible, Bonnie always made herself available to assist in the care of any family or friend in need, ranging from sliver removal to care coordination to end of life care and family support for many who have gone before her. Her devotion to family was unmatched and she enjoyed the simplicity in everyday moments she was able to share with them. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, colleague and friend, she will truly be missed by so many.

As a faithful daughter of Christ, she was a parishioner of the All Saints Catholic Church in Ware, where a funeral mass for Bonnie will be held at a later date.  She will be laid to rest at Mt. Carmel Cemetery following the mass.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting her family with arrangements.
