Carol A. Logsdon, 82, of Ware, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026, of natural causes. Born on May 9, 1943, in Waltham, Massachusetts, Carol was the daughter of the late Edgar Sicotte and the late Ida M. Sicotte.

Carol grew up in Waltham, where she graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School. It was there that she built the foundation for a life defined by warmth, creativity, and a genuine love of people. She married Dennis J. Logsdon, and the two shared sixty wonderful years together before his passing.

Carol's professional life was as colorful and layered as the cakes she once decorated. She spent twenty years as a cake decorator before pursuing a career as an esthetician. Her passion for teaching eventually led her to Assabet Valley Technical High School in Marlboro, where she became an instructor in the esthetician program. She was beloved by her students and coworkers alike, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who learned from her.

Outside of work, Carol had many hobbies, but crafting and baking were closest to her heart. She loved entertaining and cooking for family and friends, and she took special joy in spending time with her five grandsons, teaching them to cook their favorite meals. Later in life, she enjoyed splitting her time between New England and Florida, where she cultivated many dear friendships.

Anyone who knew Carol knew her laugh. It was memorable, infectious, and never far away. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved nothing more than telling a good story or a well-timed joke. She could light up a room without even trying.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis J. Logsdon; her parents, Edgar and Ida M. Sicotte; and her brother, Donald Sicotte, and sister Elaine Raguso. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Harpin and husband Jeff and Leanne Lund and husband Peter and her five grandsons; Mitch, Alec and Jeffrey Harpin and Wyatt and Austin Lund; along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

May she rest in the peace and grace of God, knowing how deeply she was loved.
