New Braintree - Carol A. (Quimby) Miller, 74, passed away at home on Thursday, December 5, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born in Springfield, on December 21, 1944, the daughter of the late Garton J. and Jane S. (Buck) Quimby.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Leslie A. Miller of New Braintree; her two daughters, Wendi Hendrix and her husband Michael of Ringgold, GA, and Lisa Ward and her husband Richard of Litchfield, NH. She also leaves behind her four grandchildren, Joey, Taylor, Caroline and Kyle; her sister, Susan and her husband Robert MacLeod of Venice, FL and several nieces.
Carol was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and looking out the picture window watching the birds come and go. She loved decorating her home and especially took joy in decorating every holiday and each changing season. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and her quick wit made those around her laugh. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Carol's family from 2 to 5PM on Saturday, December 14, 2019 in their home at 275 Barre Cutoff, in New Braintree. A private graveside service will be held in the spring.
