Ware - Carolyn L. (Pearston) Harrington, 80, of Ware died on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Southbridge Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
She leaves her sons, Gerald R. "Jay" Harrington, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Ware, Dale C. Harrington and his life partner Linda Hurley of Nantucket, Nathan J. Harrington and his wife Katie of Belchertown, her six granchildren, Evan Harrington, Hannah Harrington, Aubrey Harrington, Kaitlyn Harrington, Rachel Harrington, and William Harrington; a sister, Patricia Miller and her husband David, a sister-in-law, Barbara Pearston and many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was predeceased by her sister, Beverly Rhodes and her husband Bob as well as her brother James Pearston. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late James and Carolyn (Woodruff) Pearston.
Carolyn attended Farmington High School and attended Westbrook Junior College in Maine. She was a Direct Care Worker at the former Monson Development Center and within residential settings for many years.
She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who cherished time with her family. Following her retirement she could be found taking a peaceful walk or enjoying a book.
Services will be held privately at a later date.
