Ware - Charles W. Chagnon, 60, of Monson Turnpike Road, died on Friday, December 29, 2017 at his home following an illness over the past 2 years.
He leaves his mother, Margaret (Gutman) Murphy and her husband Thomas of Florida; his daughter, Yvonne J. Tidwell and her husband Jereme of Monson, his son, Nicholas Hyatt and his wife Jennifer of Erving; one brother, James Chagnon of Meriden, one sister, Sandra Burr of Tennessee, six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his former wife, Sandy (Ducharme) Chagnon. He was born in Meriden, Connecticut, son of the late James Chagnon.
Charles was a wire machine operator at local manufacturers, before retiring in 1995 due to disbility.
Burial will be held in the Spring in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Ware. There are no calling hours. Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting his family with arrangements.
