Charlotte E. Doiron, 81
Ludlow/West Brookfield - Charlotte E. (Hope) Doiron, 81, formerly of Wilson St. in Ludlow, died Thursday, October 1, 2015 in West Brookfield.
She leaves one son, Joseph DiBacco and his longtime companion, Igdalia Morales of Brookfield; one daughter, Michele McIntire of Waltham; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard J. Doiron, a son, Eddie DiBacco and a brother, Joseph Hope. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Joseph P. and Charlotte (Andrews) Hope and lived in Ludlow.
Mrs. Doiron loved to help people and worked many years helping people at the Heritage Hall in Agawam and later volunteering at the Family Care Center at Westover Air Force Base in Chicopee.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Parish in Ludlow and a spent many years volunteering with their annual meat pie fundraising project.
A Funeral Service for Charlotte will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. There are no calling hours. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements.
