Chester F. Porowski

Ware-Chester F. Porowski 63 passed away on March 5th at his home. He leaves his wife Doris (Letendre) Porowski, his children David Porowski of Ware, Chester Porowski Jr. and his fiancé Sherlina of Spofford, NH, his daughter Linda Wheeler and her husband David of Ware, his grandchildren Katanna, Anthony, Nathan, Justine and Corey. He also leaves his cousins Nancy, Paul and her husband Bill, Richard Malek, Danny Porowski, Peter Szkolt, Walter Smola, Martha, Barbara St.Lawrence and her husband Robert, Stanley Was, Jr., Joseph Was, Robert Was, Kathy Was and Ronald Knapp. He was predeceased by a brother Eugene, his uncles Walter, Joe, Stanley, Henry, and Frank Was and Walter Slozak and his aunt Jenny Szkolt. He was born in Holyoke son of Frank and Sophie (Was) Porowski, and lived in South Hadley coming to Ware in 1972. A truck driver Chester owned and operated C&D Porowski Trucking Incorporated. He had also worked at Was Farm, Robert Beauregard Trucking of West Brookfield, Ware Machine Shop, Mass. DOT Plowing in Belchertown, Landeen Transport LLC of Wolcott, CT, as well as Carlo DeSantis Construction. He was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and All Saints Church. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Father Fitzgerald and Sister Angela for their frequent visits. All services will be private and held at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to All Saints Church, 17 North Street, Ware, MA 01082 or St. Mary's School, South Street, Ware, MA. Charbonneau Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
