Christopher L. Eldredge

Hardwick - Christopher L. Eldredge, 52, of Hardwick died on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at his home with his loving and caregiving family by his side following a long illness.



He leaves his wife of 12 years, Shannon C. (Bowren) Eldredge; his wonderful children, Christopher H. Eldredge and Erin R. Eldredge; his four sisters, Laurie J. Calkins and her husband Charles of Danville, NH,  Deann L. Caron and her husband Robert of New Braintree, Caryn R. Eldredge and Deborah K. Howe both of West Brookfield, and one niece and several nephews.   He was born in Ware, and grew up in West Brookfield, son of the late Harland R. and Charlotte R. (Lyman) Eldredge.



Mr. Eldredge worked as a Corrections Officer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 17 years. He was also a police officer for the Town of Hardwick for 5 years.



Christopher was a loving and devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his children.  He enjoyed the Quabbin Reservoir and reading about its history.  He had a quick wit about him with a good sense of humor.  He will be sadly missed by his family, colleagues, and friends.
