Christopher T. Shea , 55,of Barre MA passed away on January 3, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by his parents James F and Rita E. Shea of Ware. He leaves his children, Danielle Shea of Colorado and Christopher G. Shea of Norfolk MA. His sisters Jennifer Mott and her husband John of Hardwick, Hilarie Shea of West Brookfield, Cassandra Shea and her husband John of Anchorage AK, and Claudia Kadra and her husband James of Ware, several nieces and nephews, and his dear friends Randy, Lisa, and Lorraine Castonguay of Barre with whom he lived.
Christopher served his country in the US Navy on the USS Independence. After his tour of duty, he returned to Ware and worked for William Wright and Salem Brothers. Chris enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, fishing, and spending his time looking for local Indian artifacts.
Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Quabbin Park Cemetery in Ware MA at the convenience of the family.
Charitable donations may be made to the Overlook Hospice, 88 Masonic Home Rd # 2, Charlton, MA 01507.
