Claire Schroder

December 23, 1930 — June 5, 2015

Ware-Claire (Labier) Schroder, passed away at home on June 5, 2015. She was the daughter of Fred and Angelina Labier. A graduate of Ware High School, she was Class Valedictorian. She married Walter Boronski and raised four children, Walter, Mark, Andrea (McBride) and Tom on a farm in Ware Center. She was a grandmother to 8 and a great grandmother to 1. When the children were small, Claire worked on the farm. Later, she became a beloved waitress at Crystal Springs. After her children were grown, Claire married George Schroder and lived on a boat on the Florida Keys, where they explored the east coast, had many adventures and swam with the barracuda and manatee. Eventually they returned to New England and settled near Lake Sunapee NH. After George's passing she returned to Ware. Claire was a gardener, a skier, snowshoer, a biker, a kayaker, a snorkeler, an amateur photographer, an avid reader and great cook. She was a doting grandmother: a true "Grammy". Claire will be remembered most for being a kind and compassionate woman. The world was truly a better place with her in it. She will be missed by all. A private service will be held at a later time.
