West Brookfield - Cynthia A. (Walford) Ryan Brodak, 85, of West Brookfield, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at home.
Cynthia's beloved husband Francis L. Brodak passed in 2016.
She leaves her daughter, Sarah J. Allen and her husband Michael, of West Brookfield; her son, Robert Brodak and his wife Cheryl, of West Brookfield; and her daughter Jean Wrobel, of Warren. Her grandchildren Jamey, Anthony, Joshua, Jessica, Jennifer, Nicole, Virginia, Garrett and Demitria. Several great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. She was born in The Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Patrick and Demetria (Perron) Ryan.
Cynthia worked as a licensed practical nurse at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center for 25 years as charge nurse of the 11pm-7am shift.
She enjoyed the beach both at home and by the sea. She was an avid Polka dancer and crossworder, but most of all she was Mom- Mom to the family she adored, and she is greatly missed.
A private graveside service for Cynthia will be held in the Pine Grove Cemetery in West Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the West Brookfield Rescue Squad, PO Box 540, West Brookfield, MA 01585, or online at https://wbrescuesquad.com . Donations in Cynthia's memory may also be made to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, PO Box 563, West Brookfield, MA 01585.
