Cynthia Ruth Parker

May 30, 1943 — January 14, 2016

Cynthia  R. (Ovens) Parker, 72, passed away on January 14th in Springfield. A "Gentle Soul", she transformed the lives of many with an open heart. She was the wife of the late Henry Parker. She was born in Ware daughter of Louis and Eunice (Tyler) Ovens and was a life long resident. She worked as a greeter at the Ware Wal-Mart and had also worked as a clerk at Brookside Mart in Ware for many years. She was a member of the United Church of Ware, was active in the restoration of the Ware Center Meeting House, and was a model railroading enthusiast. She leaves her siblings, Edith Cutler, Louis Ovens Jr., Jerry Ovens, Arthur Ovens and his wife Loretta all of Milford NH, Nancy Cheney of Hollis NH, and Gloria Wright of Florida, as well as many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her aunt Charlotte Tyler with she made her home for many years.  A graveside service will be held in Quabbin Park Cemetery in the Spring. In lieu of flowers donations may be made Church to the United Church of Ware, St. Ware MA 01082
