Ware- Daniel R. Tuttle, 61, of Ware, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA.
Daniel leaves his beloved wife, Cathleen M. Tuttle of Ware; his daughter, Ashley Tuttle and her fiancé, Drew Reardon, of Ware; his son, Joshua Tuttle of Ware and his girlfriend, Leah Cardenas, and her son, Levi; his step-son, Joshua Riberdy of West Warren and his fiancé, Megan Szwarckop; his step-son, Thomas Riberdy and his fiancé, Destiny Perez, of Webster; as well as his grandchildren, Talia and Valerie Riberdy. He also leaves his beloved mother, Jeanne E. Sojka and her partner, Bob Morin of Ware; as well as his half-brother, Paul Tuttle of Virginia; his in-laws, John and Carol Demereck of Ware; and his sister-in-law, Lynn Enterline and her husband, Keith. He was predeceased by his first wife, of 37 years, Lori Tuttle; and by his stepfather, Joe Sojka, who raised him. He was born in Ware, son of Roger A. Tuttle and Jeanne E. (Demers) Sojka.
Dan worked as a production planner for Vibram in North Brookfield for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting deer, partridges, and turkeys in Maine, as well as fishing, and just being outside in nature. He was also a skilled cook, and would be sure to prepare all of his hunted game for meals. He loved his cats, Lucy and Smokey, and he was an avid Red Sox fan. He loved making his own wine, and taking long rides in his Corvette.
A Calling Hour for Dan will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 10:30am to 11:30am in Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street in Ware. Procession to the cemetery for a Graveside Service will be held immediately following the Calling Hour, and burial will take place in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Ware.
