West Brookfield - Darlene A. (McRevey) Nichols of West Brookfield passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at The Meadows of Leicester.
Darlene is survived by her devoted husband of almost 50 years, Robert E. Nichols Jr. of West Brookfield, and her loving children, daughter, Heather Nichols and son, Seann Nichols and his wife Tiffany of West Brookfield. She is also survived by her sisters, Michelle McRevey and Sharon Sandman of Warren. She leaves several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, close friends and her beloved dog Tyler. Darlene was born in Ware on October 20, 1953 to the late Forrest and Shirley (Cook) McRevey.
Darlene worked 43 years as a hairdresser at Al's Golden Chateau in Worcester, until her retirement in 2016. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. Darlene loved going out to lunch with her friends, visiting the casino, and most of all spending time with her family for meals and card games.
A celebration of life will be taking place on August 21, 2022 from 1pm - 3pm at the Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Darlene can be made to Second Chance Animal Services, PO Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515 or at https://www.secondchanceanimals.org/ .
