David R. Fox

Ware - David R. Fox, 72, of Ware died suddenly on Monday, March 28, 2022 at his home.



He leaves his children, David Fox, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Timothy Fox and his wife Lori and Shelly Fox-Tangredi and her husband Michael; his grandchildren, Courtney, Ryan, Nichole, Brandon, Caitlyn, Tristan and Braeden; his great-grandchildren, Zi and Laylah; his brothers, Harland Fox and his wife Bridget, Brian Fox and Rodney Fox; his 2 sisters, Jane Boyle and her husband Robert and Joanne Berthiaume as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. David was predeceased by his long time love, Shirley Eldred, he is joining her in the afterlife.   He was born in Epping, NH, son of the late Harland and Loretta (Gagnon) Fox.



David worked as a Foreman for the Town of Ware for over 25 years before retiring. He was one of those guys who really enjoyed his job.



Growing up David's father owned the local garage in town so he was around cars and tinkering in the garage was second nature.  He enjoyed entertaining at his house, and looked forward to card night.  He also loved nature and watching the birds and animals that came in his yard brought him joy.





Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2 to 4PM in Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street in Ware.   Please join the family at 4:30PM at the Aspen Street Rod and Gun Club, 58 Aspen Street in Ware for a memorial gathering following calling hours.
