Ware - Dawn L. (Digaetano) Wood, 48, of Ware, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at her home.
She leaves her loving husband of 13 years, Robert "Skip" Wood, Jr. of Ware, many brothers and sisters, several nieces and nephews, including Joseph Routhier, Emily Routhier, Elizabeth Wood, Robert Wood and Christopher Armenti; mother-in-law, Cathy Manning plus her many friends. She was born in Lynn, daughter of the late Robert Digaetano and Debra (Dunbar) Digaetano.
Dawn had a heart of gold and if you were her friend, you were family. She loved to cook and would have her television tuned to her favorite cooking shows. She had a passion for animals, especially dogs. She volunteered for Beagles of New England States, B.O.N.E.S, and would foster beagles. She worked as an adoption counselor and aided with the dogs and their behavioral assessments. She loved her own 3 beagles who brought her much joy.
A Celebration of Dawn's life will be held at a later date.

Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting her family with arrangements.
