Hardwick---Dennis A. Kane, 83, of Hardwick, passed away on Oct 19th at his home. He was the husband of the late Rita (Boulerice) Kane who passed away on June 19th. He leaves his sons Henry and his wife Kathy and Richard and his wife Debbie all of Hardwick, his daughters Suzanne Misiaszek and her husband Mark of Granby, Jacqueline Deslongchamp and her husband Paul of Hardwick, Jane Agnew and her husband Mike of Ware, and Denise Motyka and her husband Thomas of Hardwick, a brother Andrew in Vermont, and his sisters Bea Reynolds, Alice Swampbank and Patricia Brewer all in Vermont. He also leaves his grandchildren, Adam, Michael and Ryan Kane, Tom , Brittni and Elizabeth Motyka, Megan and Ashley Deslongchamp, and Martin and Mary Misiaszek, as well as 4 great-grandchildren.
He was born in Canada son of Eddie and Marie (Martin) Kane and had lived in the area since 1962. He worked as a truck driver for Goldstein&Gurwitz Co. in Ware for 43 years and also worked for Marty & Sons Excavating of Hardwick. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday Oct. 26th at 10am at the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St in Ware. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9 to 10 am. Flowers are accepted or one may make a donations to one's favorite charity in Mr. Kane's memory.
