West Brookfield - Dolores C. (Cote) Riopel, 85, of West Brookfield, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.
She leaves behind her son, Edward T. Jette, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Templeton; her son, Dennis W. Jette and his wife Sandy of FL; her son, Clifford M. Jette Sr. and his wife Brenda of Sun City West, AZ; her daughter, Brenda Mastermatto; her sister, Patricia Kirk of Spencer; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Lalonde; by her brother, William B. Cote; by her brother, Roger E. Cote; and by her brother Francis "Bruddy" Cote. She was born in East Brookfield, daughter of the late Bernard A. and Ida (Tallman) Cote.
Dolores worked as a Machine Operator Stitcher at Klevin's Shoe Company, as well as a C.N.A. in elder care.
Dolores was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a kind and caring sister, and an incredible friend to many. She loved caring for and spending time with her cats - especially Rusty, her favorite.
She was a member of the East Brookfield Baptist Church.
A graveside service for Dolores will be held in the Mary Queen of the Rosary Cemetery in Spencer at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), P.O.
