West Brookfield - Dolores M. "Snooky" (Pothier) Wenzel, 82, of West Brookfield died on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at home with her loving family by her side.
She leaves two sons, Marc Wenzel and his wife Sandra of West Brookfield and Raymond E. Wenzel and his wife Lori of West Warren; her daughter, Kimberly Leger and her husband William of Leominster; a brother, Richard Pothier and his wife Sandra of Warren; five grandsons, Nathan, Chad, Jason, Andrew and Eryk and three granddaughters, Heidi, Kristina and Kara, and two great grandchildren David and Rose. She was predeceased by her daughter Diane, as well as four siblings, Thomas, Eugene, Robert and Alice. She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Alfred Pothier and Louise Manseau.
Dolores worked as a CNA at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center for 20 years and also as a Home Health Aide for Catholic Charities.
Dolores was a loving and devoted mother and enjoyed taking care of others.
A Graveside Service for Dolores will be held in St. Paul's Cemetery in Warren in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New England Chapter of the American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Rd., Famingham, MA 01701. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements.
