Ware- Donna P. Leighton, 77, peacefully passed away at her home in Ware on Sunday, August 30th, 2026, surrounded by her beloved family. She leaves behind her daughter, Lorrie Robidoux, and her husband Marc, of Ware; her dear mother Grace Hadlock, also of Ware; her brother Todd Hadlock and his wife Lori of Palmer, along with her two nephews, Ryan Hadlock and Brandon Boone. Donna was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Lawrence C. Leighton, and her father, Floyd C. Hadlock.

Born and raised in Ware, Massachusetts, Donna graduated from Ware High School class of 1967. She dedicated 15 years to Aquatic Plastics in West Brookfield as an injection molding machine operator. At home, she found joy in the simple pleasures of tending to her family and caring for her beloved dogs, Sparky (Miniature Pinscher) and Fenway (Boston Terrier).

A committed member of the Ware Kingdom Hall since 1990, Donna was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She found comfort in reading her Bible, she especially loved the book of Job and found great solace in Revelation 21: 4-5.

“He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said: ‘Look! I am making all things new.’”
