Donna L (Sinclair) Moody, 74 of Brooksville Fl., passed away on August 21, 2024.
Born in Ware, MA, on March 24,1950, to the late Richard and Frances Sinclair, she continued to reside in Ware and raise her 3 sons with her husband of 55 years, LeRoy "Butch" Moody. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons, Scott Moody, Brett Moody and his wife Christine, of Granby MA and Dana Moody and his wife Shannon, of Weare, NH, her beloved grandchildren, Conner, Chloe, and Sydney Moody and Mercedes "Sadie" Fournier. She leaves behind numerous brothers, sisters and extended family.
In addition to her family, Donna prided herself in returning to college and earning her Associates of Science Degree in Nursing, with Honors, in 1982. She touched and impacted numerous lives and families in the Emergency Department of Mary Lane and Wing Memorial hospital for 18 years and Central Maine Medical Center for 12 years after relocating to Lewiston ME. She was a member of the Emergency Nurses Association and retired in 2012. After touring the country for years, she and Butch settled in Brooksville Florida.
Donna will be remembered for her zest for life, infectious personality, laughter, spontaneity, dedication, loving and kind nature, open heart and "tell it how it is" style. She loved large gatherings with family and friends, dancing, cooking, skiing and playing with her grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street, Ware, MA. Funeral Service to be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11 a.m. with the burial to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren, MA.
