West Brookfield - Dorothy W. (Woodbury) Bell-Whittemore, 97, died on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.
She leaves four grandchildren, Donald Carlson of Pittsfield, Darlene Ross, and Sondra Bonacquisti both of Pittsfield, and Donna Carlson of Lanesboro; six great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Linda M. Bell of West Brookfield and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank R. Whittemore, two children, Gregg A. Bell and Beverly B. Carlson and several siblings.
She was a member of the George Whitefield United Methodist Church in West Brookfield.
Funeral Services for Dorothy will be held privately and there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center Activities Fund, 47 East Main St., West Brookfield, MA 01585. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield is assiting her family with arrangements.
