Dorothy M. Dubay

Warren - Dorothy M. (Gilman) Dubay, 93, of Warren, died peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.
She leaves her daughter, Sandra L. Smith of Warren; her son, James Jeffery and his wife Cindy of Florida; three grandchildren, Tammy Lindberg and her husband John, Matthew Smith and his fiancé Amanda and Joshua Jeffery; two great-grandchildren, Jack and Daniel Lindberg; her sister-in-law, Alice Gilman, her three nephews as well as her three step-children, Richard Dubay, Christine Banks and Barbara LaFontaine and their children.
She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Dubay, a brother Donald Gilman and her grandson Timothy. She was born in Warren, daughter of the late Edward and Hazel (Dumas) Gilman.
Dot worked for the former William E. Wright Company in West Warren for nearly 40 years. She worked as a machine operator as a winder, and then held other positions before her retirement in 1988.
She graduated from Warren High School in 1945.
Dot enjoyed a good book, puzzles of all types, cooking, country music and a cup of coffee with a nice donut.
The family would like to thank the staff at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center for the wonderful care they provided to Dorothy.
A Graveside Service for Dorothy will be held at a later date. At her request, there are no calling hours.
