Dorothy A Flamand

Dorothy  A. (Lanou)  Flamand, 93, passed away on Oct. 9, 2016 in West Brookfield. She was born in Palmer daughter of the late Hilaire and Leonie (LaBonte) Lanou     and lived in Ware most of her life. She was the wife of the late Leo Flamand. She leaves her son Leo Flamand Jr. and his wife Christine of Ware, their children Joseph and his wife Tulay in Colorado and Christopher and his wife Lauren in Connecticut, and Leo's daughter Cheryl Davis in South Carolina, as well as her great grandchildren Emily and Rebecca Davis. Dot was a communicant of All Saints Church, and was an active member of the Ware Senior Center and of the former Ware Golden Agers. Dorothy worked as a housekeeper at UMass-Amherst before her retirement.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday Oct. 14  at 11am in All Saints Church, North St. Calling Hours will be held on Friday at the Charbonneau Funeral Home from 9 to 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Ware Senior, 1 Robbins Rd., Ware MA 01082.
