July 6, 1951 — May 17, 2025

North Brookfield – Douglas L. Fountain, 73, of North Brookfield, died on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester following a brief illness.
He leaves his siblings, Sandy Bazley of Spencer, Bruce Fountain and his wife Sandra of Norwich, CT, Ronald Pocis of New Hampshire, and Gene Fountain of Brimfield, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Debra Lincoln and his brother, Norman Knapton. Doug worked as a talented and skilled Corian crafter and carpenter at Lavalleille Architectural Millwork, Inc. in Spencer for the past 31 years. Along with his family, in his younger years, he was also part of the Fountain Construction Company originally founded by his father. Doug enjoyed fishing in many of the local waters throughout the area.
