Douglas Neel Wiles

Brookfield – Douglas Neel Wiles, 64, of Brookfield, died on Monday, November 18, 2024, at his home with his loving family by his side.
He leaves his wife and caregiver, Mary Faugno-Wiles; his step-sons, Joshua and Jason Quinn; his siblings, Robert Wiles Jr., and his wife Ashley of Hawaii, Patty Wiles-Wagner of Oregon, Chris Wiles and his wife Roseanne of Florida, as well as grandchildren, Ava, Cameron, Myra, Luke, and Zada. He also leaves his sister in-law Dominica Chisolm and her husband Peter of Danvers, his sister-in-law Angela Gardner and her husband Ross of North Carolina, Heather De Arcangelis, Jacqueline Quinn, many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law Joan Faugno, sister-in-law Mildred Collins and her husband Gregg. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Robert E. Wiles, Sr. and Phyllis Mae (Bretz) Wiles.
Doug worked as a self-employed master carpenter and took pride in sharing his skills and knowledge with many. He enjoyed renovating his home, gardening, watching TV, listening to music and taking walks on the beach. Doug’s best times were spent making memories with family and friends.
Calling Hours for Doug will be held on Friday, November 22nd from 5:00pm to 6:30pm, followed by a Funeral Service from 6:30pm to 7:00pm in the Varnum Funeral Home, 43 East Main Street in West Brookfield. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, November 23rd, in the lower level of the Brookfield Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers, his request was that you consider the donation of a memorial tree to be planted by the United States Forest Service or the Arbor Day Foundation.
