Earl C. "Choppy" Compton, 86
Warren - Earl C. "Choppy" Compton, 86, of Old West Warren Rd., died Monday, October 26, 2015 in Baystate Mary Lane Hospital in Ware.
He leaves two sons, Dana Compton and Brian Compton of Georgia; two daughters, Debra Perry and her husband Scott of Georgia and Donna Marie Compton of Westfield; three grandchildren, Aaron, Ryeleigh and Connor; one great-grandchild, Savannah; his friend Mark Korzec of Hardwick and his friend and caregiver, Jennifer Wilk of Warren. He was born in Ware, son of the late Frederick and Edna (Coolidge) Compton and grew up in Warren and lived in Ware and West Brookfield before moving back to Warren.

Mr. Compton worked for 44 years for Warren Pumps as a cost estimator before retiring in 1992.
He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Funeral Services for Earl will be held privately at his request and burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren. There are no calling hours. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield is assisting his family with arrangements.
